DEADWEB MANIFESTO

We exist in a world governed by invisible architecture. Our lives are shaped by algorithms we do not see, influence, or control. Corporations and governments alike monitor, categorize, and monetize behavior. Metadata has replaced fingerprints. Patterns have replaced consent. Access is privilege. Privacy is resistance.

We reject the myth of digital neutrality. Every platform, every “free” service, every app is a mechanism of influence. Every click, every scroll, every search is harvested, sold, and weaponized. These systems enforce compliance, predict behavior, and restrict freedom.

We advocate for autonomy through understanding and infrastructure: - Use encryption and decentralized protocols wherever possible.
- Minimize data flows and metadata collection actively.
- Minimize participation in systems that quantify your life.
- Share knowledge about digital oppression publicly.

We reject the normalization of surveillance. We refuse to equate convenience with consent. We insist on transparency and accountability from all systems that govern behavior.

We are not anonymous because we hide. We are visible because we insist on truth. We exist to remind you that the freedom is contested. It is not a playground for corporations or autocrats. It is a domain of possibility, resistance, and self-determination.

This is an invitation to question, to resist, and to act. This dystopia is not inevitable. It is built daily. It can be broken down daily. We act. We inform. We broadcast.
